American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) Found in open and semi-open habitats. All black with a purplish gloss. Large black bill and legs also black. Square tail. This is one of several crows being cared for at the center. The crows fell out of a nest before they were able to fly and feed themselves. Photo taken 5/27/01. |
